How to set push notifications for my SR PDQ Device?
Push notifications can be set through app and portal
To set from app:
- Launch the app
- From home screen, tap on Slider menu -> SR Smart App Settings -> Push Notification
- Select events you want to subscribe for and the user devices on which you want to receive
To set from Portal:
- Log in to your existing SRP account by visiting https://portal.pdqlocks.com/
- Go to Devices->Events & Notification
- Select events you want to subscribe for and the user devices on which you want to receive.Portal will guide you for the same
I am not receiving any push notification for subscribed event for mobile device
To receive push notification, you must have fulfilled below criteria:
- Your mobile device's Internet connectivity should be ON. To verify Internet connectivity of mobile, please launch safari or any browser and try to access any web page.
- Notifications must be on in your mobile device.
- iOS Users - Go to Phone’s Settings -> Notifications -> SR Smart -> Allow Notifications must be ON. "Alert Style When Unlocked" must not be "None".
- Android Users - Go to Phone’s Settings -> Apps à SR Smart -> Show Notifications must be ON.
